Do you have a coworker who is always running late, never refills the coffee pot, hums a little too loudly or always leaves dirty dishes in the kitchen sink? Well now’s your chance to issue a warrant and make them a Jailbird!
Join the Niagara Regional Police on September 27 for their 5th Annual Event
This is an annual Third Party Event run by the Niagara Regional Police
Last year, we beat our goal of $10,000 and raised an record of $23,000!
Community leaders and citizens in St. Catharines, Thorold, and Niagara-on-the-Lake are set to taste the long arm of the law when they take part in the NRP’s annual Jail and Bail fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Catharines, Thorold & District. Willing participants will be mock arrested at a pre-arranged location by Big Brothers Big Sisters Board member Niagara Regional Police Interim Chief Bryan MacCulloch, Inspector Marco Giannico, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Dale Davis, and a group of volunteers as they are whisked away to the on-site jail located at Market Square in downtown St. Catharines.
The total bail is set at $10,000 and all monies raised will help free up our kids who are currently on the wait list! We need YOU to throw the book at your worst-offending colleague, friend or family member and nominate them to be a jailbird!
We are Niagara’s leading youth mentoring agency serving over 900 children and youth in St. Catharines, Thorold & Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our aim is to support children and at-risk youth to become healthier, happier, more self-confident and an active citizen of our community. We are faced this year with huge financial challenges and the growing demand for our programs has resulted in a widening gap between what we can do and what we can afford to do. We must raise 90% of our total budget to maintain and grow our programs.
Being on the wrong side of the law for the right cause is what Jail and Bail is all about!
- Should you wish to be arrested please call Marcie Clarkson at 905-646-3230 ext 32 or email@example.com
- We are pre- scheduling arrests now where participants agree to be taken to jail to serve time until the bail amount is reached ( Minimum Bail amount is set at 300.00) While in jail our hotline will be open to take pledges from your friends, family, and colleagues over the phone to get you out of jail. Or visit your favourite perp at Market Square in St. Catharines. Jailbirds will be released when bail is raised.
All donations of $15 or more are eligible for a tax receipt with 100% of the money raised going directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters St. Catharines-Thorold & District. This promises to be an event you won’t want to miss! Please help us Start Something….
